I was born on June 23, 1969 in Cullman, Alabama. I spent my first 20 years there before moving to Tuscaloosa to attend the University of Alabama, where I earned a Bachelor's in Math Education in 1993, and a Master's in Math Education in 1996. After doing some graduate work in Applied Math I moved to Memphis in the fall of 1997, where I have been ever since.

I am Married to Lisa. We were married on May 4, 2002 at Bellevue Baptist Church, where we met. If you would like any more information about the church or what we believe, or would like to hear a message from our pastor, please follow the link to their web site or ask me about it.

Some other things I like to do are gardening, playing computer games, and woodworking. I also have a cat.
