1/27/06 DEADLINE APPROACHING TO PURCHASE DISNEY TICKETS AND/OR MEAL PLAN TICKETS

 DISNEY TICKETS

All parents are welcome to caravan with the band to Florida!  Park Hopper tickets may be purchased at a group rate of $130 through the band if ordered in advance.  Please notify Linda Radley (phone: 382-0534) if you need tickets by 1/27/06 and if you will caravanning with us.   

MEAL PLAN OPTION

While at Disney, meal tickets are available for $48.00.  This includes 4 tickets (one per day) at various locations throughout the theme parks and resort.  This ticket includes an entrée, beverage, and a dessert.  Should you want this option, please send $48 in an envelope with your students name and “Meal Plan” on it by 1/27/06 payable to BHS (student account may also be used).

The color guard is taking orders for hoodies.  Forms will be available in the band room or you may download or print the form from here and turn into Beverly Vance or Angela Foster at band practice.  Hoodies will be available for pickup in approximately two weeks after placing order.                                       

Prices range from $25 for a sweatshirt, $30 for a pull-over hoodie, and $35 for a zipper hoodie; extended sizes are available at slightly higher cost.

Away event check-out procedures -- Linda Radley, Chaperone Coordinator

All students are required to ride the buses to the event.  If you want your student to ride home with you after the event, please see me to check them out.  I will be in front of the busses after each event.  Please have your student come with you to check out.   If you want your student to ride with another parent, please see me before we leave the high school and bring a note stating who the student is to ride home with.  The student and the parent they are to ride home with needs to come and check out after the event.  The busses will not leave until all students are accounted for.  This check-out process, as described here, is required by the Shelby County Board of Education.  Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Should your student have any special medical needs, please see me before we depart.  Please have them bring all medications with them.  If your student uses an inhaler, please make sure it is not outdated.  Please come and support our band at our away events!  All are welcome and we need you there.

Purchase Kroger gift card from BHS Band for $5.  The card is pre-loaded with $5; before making purchases at any Kroger location, load the card with desired amount and use that card to pay.   You can also make gasoline purchases at the Kroger locations with pumps.
